I live in Virginia, PETA land and have known for decades that they DO NOT protect and save animals. At one point, pre 2005, I participated in bringing attention to furriers in the Richmond area but then found out that PETA actually kills kittens if reported/turned in by concerned citizens — it made quite a stir when divulged by a Williamsburg, VA citizen.
