Yes I was greatly damaged by drunks, armed robbers, murderers, assassins, drug lords, Islamic Muslim terrorists but what troubled me the most were the American soldiers who [home from war] came into the store drunk an often beat on me. Wouldn’t do it now but there was a time if a soldier saluted me I would smack him to the ground. When I was 15 an 18 year old marine home from killing fields of Vietnam tried to slam me to the floor but the third time he hit the floor his mommy yelled, Leave Cliff alone. It’s doubtful she said that for my benefit.
